Portraits, street, and abstract photography capture my artistic intention.
I often cross lines between photography, compositional and abstract design, creating images from which the arising “space” exposes what otherwise is invisible at first sight. Experimenting with photo layering produces a creative tension, somewhat destabilizing, and propels all observers to individually find their own meaning. In our world of colors, I am attracted to black and white photogrphy because it directs our focus to the fundamentals : light, shapes and composition.
For portraits, I am drawn to faces with striking features and penetrating gazes. While shooting portraits or scenes of daily life, I carefully frame my images to generate emotional connections allowing the viewer to imagine stories that can be unforeseen, enigmatic, disturbing, or appealing. I am dedicated to bearing witness to the beauty and the challenges of our world.
