Juan Pablo de Vilmorin

CUERNAVACA, Mexico

All my life I have had the desire to paint, but being a young father I always left it for another moment, that moment came 4 years ago when I started playing painting on my cell phone and I was amazed with the technique of digital art because it gave me the opportunity to paint anywhere and anytime, this led me to acquire more professional equipment and continue painting one work after another, discovering myself, and looking for different techniques, taking online courses and learning in a self-taught way. I really like digital art because it gives me the ease of being able to capture my work in different materials, such as canvas, acrylic, and in different formats. I make digital paintings that depict moments of ordinary life; those which we experience every day, yet don’t fully appreciate. The scenes are either literal interpretations of my surroundings in Cuernavaca, Mexico, or imaginary visions of people, cities, nature, or animals in tropical environments. I believe beauty lies in the simple everyday and I want to celebrate it in my work.
