Jeannette A. Hasler-Gobbi

My work is inspired by nature. I am fascinated with the changing seasons, snowy landscapes, flowers, animals, and astronomical phenomena. I paint in acrylic, using primary colors combined with white and black to convey the vibrancy of the natural world. I not only depict the beauty of our planet but also try to raise awareness about the threat that climate change poses to it, such as the melting glaciers in Switzerland and worldwide. Above all, art has become a process of inner search and self-realization while I also share my knowledge with students giving art classes In community colleges.
