I make portraits to reach the very essence of a person. Each piece is a quest to reveal a unique story and the beauty that lies in it.

I use paper-cutting and photographic collage to represent my subjects’ true essence and identities, transcending mere physical representation. The layers signify the different phases and experiences in our lives. They shift and change, mirroring the fluid kaleidoscope of human existence.

My latest series, Sidewalk Diaries, captures anonymous passers-by in the streets of Harlem, absorbed in their own thoughts and worries. Through paper cutting, I offer an alternative realm where their untold stories unfold; like characters in a whimsical, mysterious dimension—a cinematic journey into the heart of human potential and the enigmatic nature of reality.
