I am a self-taught artist. Art has always been my safe and genuine space to personally channel joy, challenges, and beauty. None of my work was intentional. It developed over time. I explored painting and drawing during my youth and adulthood. I never liked to explain a certain piece of work. Composition is not something planned for me. It simply exists, and I embrace it when I come in contact with it. If I have made a picture and I am happy with it, hopefully it can speak for itself. Each person takes something different from the same picture.

My purpose is to stop, invest time, and bring attention to the smallest details of life, the details that usually go unnoticed. In order to create my paintings, I usually focus on a tiny piece of a photo and magnify it to the point of abstraction. My abstract ink drawings are 100% spontaneous, and I only attempt to use as many different patterns as possible in one drawing. My drawing "1504" was different. I wanted to do the opposite. I attempted to bring something as huge as New York to the scope of a small window in a tiny apartment.
