I have always appreciated the uniqueness of nature. My art started from believing clouds and water were beautiful, which made me want to understand them. It led me to loving and wanting to explore every aspect of nature. Science is the understanding of nature and my photographs are its visual realization. Drawing influence from different cultures’ ancient beliefs on the workings of the universe as well as the theory of platonic solids – representing the elements of fire, water, earth, air, and aether – I take natural and artificial substances and reshape them in a way people can understand, giving them expression and life. I arrange objects and create a physical setup in which a particular phenomenon can thrive and the elements can interact, reflecting the limitless possibilities of the world around us.
