What I create with acrylic paint, tile, and found objects is a visual representation of my thoughts, feelings, and broad range of lifetime experiences. I have chosen to live and work with people from the United States and abroad, gathering understanding, appreciation, empathy, and admiration for all.
My work illustrates the passion, joy, and love for humanity I carry in my mind and heart. My extended family suffers from an incurable neuromuscular condition named Huntington Disease. I am free of the disease and eternally grateful. I use my art to bring about awareness and donate some of my profits to the Huntington Disease Society of America.
Rather than focus on the dark side of life and the suffering it can bring, I focus on positivity using colors, topics, objects, and all of humanity for inspiration. My goal is to engage the viewer and uplift all of us from suffering and pain while pulling us out of our negative thoughts and into a place of calm.
