I paint large acrylic paintings using palette knives and a roller. I also mix sand with the paint. The paintings are my mental landscape and are based on my memories of the time spent in Finnish Lapland. There, in the winter months, I study the myriad colors of the light, when the sun doesn’t rise. I create hazy atmospheres with blurry contours and broad lines to remind everyone that nature is a precious gift for us to treasure.
