From a very young age I have been fascinated by images with vivid colors and soft shades arranged in cinematic sequence, such as in animated short films.
I use acrylic mixed with oil on various supports, including wood, canvas, and plastic, alternating a palette knife for texture and finer brushwork. I do not limit my creative expression to paintings, but also experiment with sculptures, all-round modeling, and digital graphics.
My landscapes are half-imagined and half-real and explore the balance between our desire for introspection and the need to form connections with the outer world. I seek to direct the viewer’s attention to a specific detail, shape, or color in the composition, so as to encourage self-examination into each individual’s memories and experiences. My work intends to have therapeutic value, helping the observer unconsciously escape reality through sensorial perception.
