In my work as a TV producer, I have always dealt with images – the electronic ones. Then I made my debut as a visual artist at the Danish Academy in Rome. I stayed there for a long time to write my thesis in film and media science. Inspired by the calm atmosphere at the academy, it came as a natural reaction to also express myself in painting.

Often I get inspiration from my travels, especially Italy, Portugal, Spain, USA and of course Denmark.

I paint as a way to express myself beyond the spoken and written word. My paintings illustrate a dreamy, weightless universe, where time and place are not defined and I want to create atmospheres of peace, harmony, and contemplation; visual poems where the viewer can freely embark on a journey beyond reality.
