In our times the human body is so sexualized, traumatized, and medicated. My work examines the ideas currently used to hoard, camouflage, lobotomize, and exploit us as persons. Within ideas I find fantasies and whimsy.

With paintings, I find portholes to create a language of colour, shapes, lines, and forms. My paintings done in mixed media are expressive abstractions and active critiques of my experiences within a physical body.
