From a young age I have been curious and inquisitive. I would spend hours in nature, observing plants and animals and gathering anything I could find. The diversity of natural materials enchants me and I love experimenting with texture. My preferred mediums are sand, stones, shells, and other natural objects like feathers and dried plants. I have a large collection of sand from all five continents, each capturing the uniqueness of the territory. My intent is to channel the magical and mystical essence of these elements. My art is not only about making paintings. It is a lifestyle and has influenced all of my decisions: the way I live, the way I dress, the things I surround myself with. My paintings are a mirror reflecting my expansive, cosmopolitan view of the world. I do not seek admiration, but rather I would like to make people think outside the box and accept the wonderful diversity our planet offers.
