My work has been project-based where I collect data to create art that questions ideas of colonialism, identity, and oppression.

I use my art as a protest tool to address issues affecting ordinary individuals and intend to create art that is accessible and easily understood by the public.

I use multimedia techniques ranging from calligraphy and lightboxes to video art and performance. In the process of art-making, I seek to turn my art into a political statement that reflects not only my identity as a Kurd but also our shared humanity.
