I paint Buddhist paintings that can convey to people today the art of living peacefully in the time before death while studying the words of Buddha.
I paint on clay and will research original techniques while incorporating Japanese craft techniques into the clay.
My work is a mixture of ancient Japanese techniques and materials such as raised coloring, foil, and lacquer. The works, painted with unique skills, have a transparency like ceramics, and the delicate colors and line drawings create a unique beauty.
