My artistic journey began with photography. Enraptured by the grandeur of Floridian landscapes, I created dramatic compositions shooting in black and white and infrared. After training with a photographer for three years, I became drawn to abstract art and discovered an all-consuming passion for acrylic flow painting. I am fascinated with the use of color, the movement, and the unpredictability that comes with fluidity. Recently, I have been experimenting with the "dump and swirl" technique. With precision and meticulousness I developed formulas and measurements that allowed me to have a greater degree of control and achieve predictable results. Playing on the contrast between negative space and two-tone cell patterns, I strive to create enthralling compositions that evoke emotion, yet look organic and balanced.
