My work straddles the boundaries between Expressionism, Magical Realism, and Neo-Fauvism, using nature as a springboard to explore broader existential questions. My series, The Secret Gardens, for example, delves into the enchanting microcosms hidden within small outdoor sanctuaries, particularly wildflowers. My Colombian roots infuse my palette with pastels reminiscent of Barranquilla's sunsets, and vibrant greens and blues mirroring its lush landscapes. In a world fraught with stress, my art becomes an oasis of rejuvenation, offering solace and respite.
