I have been immersed in painting and sketching for as long as I can remember, using art as a tradition of visual storytelling. As an artist, I deeply believe in art's power to transform emotional scars into badges of honor that we can wear with pride. They serve as a catalyst, connecting people to a shared consciousness of joys and fears. My work exists in the intersection of abstract and symbolic representation, aiming to distill collective wisdom from adversity. I employ pure abstraction as well as calligraphic and figurative imagery to explore universal questions. Symbolism creates an easy access point for the viewer, allowing for interpretation and flexibility in the narrative and making space for the expression of light into the dark. Applying paint to canvas is my way of bringing order from chaos, deriving joy from struggle, and highlighting the beauty that coexists with challenge. Through blending uniqueness with universality, my paintings invite viewers into a space free from comparison or judgment, offering a sanctuary where we can engage with the ineffable aspects of our experiences.
