Akemi Fujita

I studied oil painting at university before becoming captivated by the unique appeal of driftwood and beginning to create three-dimensional sculptures.

In my work, I place great importance on preserving the natural texture and character of the driftwood while also focusing on creating expressive and captivating eyes. Through these sculptures, I aim to create works with a sense of charm, cuteness, and humor.
